On Southern Man sailing around the Whitsundays was Paradise. Marks briefing was perfect to help us feel ready for our 5 days adventure. Southern Man had everything we needed for the perfect relaxing holiday. Sitting on the comfortable outdoor chairs watching the sun rise & set, gazing at the clear night sky with beautiful stars was amazing. Recommend this boat with the 4 cabins & bathrooms it’s was perfect for our adventure.

It does not matter when you come, the Whitsundays is magnificent. Sailing at it’s best is August to December every year. April to July provides the mildest conditions and June to August is peak time for whale watching. One of the offerings of the region is calm and protected waters which provide the ideal environment for Humpback and Pilot whales to birth their young calves. Whale sightings are very common and even the winter months provide very mild to warm conditions.
